Common Questions
Do I need a payroll service if it's just me as the director?
If you pay yourself a salary through PAYE, yes. RTI submissions are required regardless of employee count. We run director-only payrolls regularly.
Can you handle pension auto-enrolment?
Yes, fully. Including the initial scheme setup if you haven't done it, ongoing contributions, opt-ins, opt-outs, and re-enrolment every three years.
How quickly do you turn payroll around?
Standard turnaround is two working days from receiving the pay data. We can move faster on request.
What if I take on a new employee mid-month?
Send us their starter checklist and P45 (if they have one) and we'll get them set up before the next pay run. New starters can be added any time.
Can you handle CIS payroll alongside standard PAYE?
Yes. Many of our construction clients pay both employees through PAYE and subcontractors under CIS. We handle both sides in one service.
